In honor of Hispanic Heritage month, the Farmington Public Library celebrates the seminal work Bless Me, Ultima, by New Mexico’s own Rudolfo Anaya. The film adaptation, directed by Carl Franklin, and featuring Luke Ganalon, Miriam Colon, Benito Martinez, and Joseph A. Garcia. 

Bless Me, Ultima is a drama set in New Mexico during WWII, centered on the relationship between a young man and an elderly medicine woman who helps him contend with the battle between good and evil that rages in his village.   Enter to win an autographed book of Bless Me, Ultima provided by REFORMA de Nuevo Mexico.
