The Center for Southwest Research archives, University of New
Mexico Library, Albuquerque, has a new separate website for our early state
newspapers called the
New Mexico Digital Newspapers - at http://elibrary.unm.edu/cswr/newspapers.php
it highlights New Mexico's contribution to the National Digital Newspaper Program sponsored by the Library of Congress and the National Endowment for the Humanities. (New Mexico's part of Chronicling America).
Since 2010, the University of New Mexico and the University of North Texas have collaboratively digitized over 200,000 pages of historical newspapers from New Mexico.
It will be updated as additional titles are added to Chronicling America.
