An act relating to days of special observance; changing the Hispanic Culture Day observance to ODD - Numbered Years; amending a Section of the NMSA 1978.
HISPANIC CULTURE DAY. -- The second Tuesday of February of each odd-numbered year shall be knows and celebrated as "Hispanic Culture Day'; in recognition of the many contributions, sacrifices and accomplishments of Hispanic people form throughout the world who have buldt New Mexico into a beautiful and dynamic mosaic of cultural diversity. This day shall be observed with celebrations that honor all pat, present and future Hispanic citizens and leaders in ways that enhance relationshiops among all the people of New Mexico."
